The Opportunity
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems with a strong emphasis on Python-based applications
- Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate complex healthcare and AI problems into robust technical solutions
- Participate in system design discussions and help build reliable, high-performance architectures
- Debug, optimize, and improve system performance to meet both technical and business requirements
- Learn continuously through mentorship, design reviews, and exposure to cutting-edge problems in healthcare and AI systems
What You’ll Bring
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, with the ability to reason from first principles and design scalable systems
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP, with hands-on experience building or deploying LLM-based systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured, scalable solutions
- Experience with backend systems, scalable applications, or research-oriented development through projects or internships is a plus
